South Jersey Man, 31, Found Fatally Shot In Crashed Car

A 31-year-old Camden man was shot dead in that city, authorities said.

Alberto DeJesus was found dead late Saturday night after crashing into a utility pole, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay alongside Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

On Saturday, Sep. 9, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Camden County Police Department Officers responded to Norris Street and Lansdowne Avenue in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

Inside the vehicle, was a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds, they said. DeJesus was pronounced dead at 11:54 p.m.

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
